How do you play this suit for three tricks?

Lead the 3 toward the jack. If East wins the king, next
go to dummy and finesse to the 9. If the jack wins,
lead the 2 to the 9. You take three tricks whenever the
king is singleton, doubleton or tripleton on your left, or
whenever the 10 is on your right.
