Sam Lev, of New York, and Jacek Pszczola, of Poland, won this year's Cavendish Invitational Pairs. It is their second victory in this event, each having won before with different partners. They overtook the runners-up from Italy, Fulvio Fantoni and Claudio Nunes, on the next to last round, by defeating a four-spade contract made at several other tables.
