Our readers say:

I just read through the January 2005 issue. It looked very handsome. - David Bird

Congratulations! Your new format it great. So readable now. I always have trouble concentrating while reading on the computer...I really enjoyed reading the January issue... I particularly like the use of the light colored backgrounds and the teasers at the end of an article leading up to the next one.

Keep making improvements and we will all keep subscribing - Dave Germaine

Enjoyed the commentary and the humor almost more than the Bridge hand!!!

Thank you. - Naomi Fiekowsky

I think the way you've done the booklet format is just fantastic. I can just print it off with no trouble at all; it's then just as convenient to read when and where I want (usually on the beach or in bed!) and I get twice as many magazines with much more current articles since there are no printing and postage delays (significant for sea mail to down-under). - Neil Perry, Australia.

*HOW TO PRINT THE BOOKLET VERSION

1. Open the booklet pdf.

2. In Acrobat scroll down the File menu to the third selection and select Page Setup.

3. Click on the middle picture in Orientation, so that your printer will print sideways and click OK.

4. Scroll down the File menu to the fourth selection Print.

5. In the bottom half of the Print window, under Postscript Options, see where it says Print: Even and Odd Pages. You can click on Even and Odd Pages and scroll to second option Odd Pages Only. Then click on Print in the upper right corner. Your printer will print 8 pages, with two Bridge Today Magazine pages on each page, side by side.

6. Take these pages and put them back on top of your paper supply in the printer with page one on top (with the top of the bridge today page on your right hand side). This may vary from printer to printer. This method is for laser printers. We'll try to find out how to put the paper in for jet printers.

7. Then go back to the Print page and scroll to Even Pages Only. After this prints, if all goes well, you have a complete magazine, 32 pages, on 8 real pages. You may have to resort them, depending on how the pages come out of your printer. We resorted ours, from top to bottom and then folded it in half.
