The revised and expanded edition of the Granovetters’ booklet of conventions has grown from 92 to 112 pages, and now contains over 220 conventions, including all the latest. Not only is this little booklet useful to carry in your bag or pocket , but you’ll find it handy to have next to your computer when you play online.

It will prove invaluable if you wish to play something a little more upmarket in certain situations. Also many terms are explained, such as Restricted Choice, Forcing Passes, and Fourth Suit Forcing. A passed hand rarely makes a two-over-one response, and you may wish to try LIMIT RAISE DRURY to help you to stay at the two level.

This is an excellent variation on two-way Drury. Example:

West
pass
2 or 2

North
pass

East
1

South
pass

2 shows a four trump limit raise
2 shows 10-12 points with three trumps
2 shows 8-10, support and constructive

East rebids 2 to sign off after 2 and 2.

After 2, 2 says, not the worst. The system applies after any call by South.
